Seth Rollins signed with WWE in 2010, initially appearing in Florida Championship Wrestling, which served as the company’s developmental territory at the time. He later became the inaugural NXT Champion.
Rollins arrived on the main roster alongside Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley) and Roman Reigns as The Shield two years later. The trio ran roughshod over WWE until June 2016 when Rollins turned on his partners and joined The Authority.
After winning the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, Rollins cashed in his contract during the main event of WrestleMania 31, between Reigns and Brock Lesnar to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
Three more World Championship wins have followed with numerous other championship reigns thrown in.
More recently, Rollins has found himself wrapped up in a feud with Hall of Famer Edge. Upset at Edge getting a shot at the Universal Championship, the former World Champion promised to end his career. This set up a match between the pair at SummerSlam, but Edge was ultimately victorious. However, with Rollins determined to vanquish his foe, the two met one more time on Super SmackDown at Madison Square Garden.
In the match, Rollins delivered numerous super-kicks and a Curb Stomp to pick up the win. After the bell, Edge was taken away on a stretcher.
