Though the group hasn’t teamed together in over three years, Seth Rollins brought back the old Shield three-fisted pose with two different partners!
Formed at the 2012 Survivor Series pay-per-view, The Shield – comprised of Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose – has gone down as one of the most successful trios in WWE history. Wrestling discourse is almost unanimous on their booking, both in their initial run and in any subsequent reformations.
There were several key aspects of the group that made them so well-liked, from their Triple Powerbomb finish to their riot-esque ring gear. Perhaps the biggest highlight of the group, though, was their trademark pose. Standing next to each other, Rollins, Reigns, and Ambrose each put a fist together to create the iconic stance.
Wrestling during an untelevised live event in Bismarck, North Dakota, Seth Rollins brought the pose back, albeit with The Miz and Austin Theory rather than alongside the current Undisputed WWE Universal and AEW World Champions, respectively.

Rollins, Miz, and Theory lost in the Saturday Night’s Main Event headline spot to Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley, and Dolph Ziggler.
The Shield hasn’t teamed together since April 2019 when, on a WWE Network special titled The Shield’s Final Chapter, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose emerged victorious over Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Baron Corbin in Ambrose’s last WWE match before he left for AEW.
