Seth Rollins has reacted to comments on Raw, where Bayley claimed Becky Lynch was not good enough for him.
Becky Lynch interrupted Bayley and issued a challenge to face her one-on-one but the leader of Damage CTRL shot her down, claiming The Man was not good enough to face her and did not stop there.
Bayley would go on to claim that her foe was not even good enough for Seth Rollins, claiming that he only proposed due to Lynch becoming pregnant.
This led to Lynch claiming she felt they had only been arguing over wrestling but that it now felt that the animosity between the pair must have started back in NXT and that with next week’s Raw taking place in Orlando, the home city of the WWE Performance Center, it would be the perfect place to end their feud.
Seth Rollins Stuck Between Wife And Best Friend
Seth Rollins took to social media, sharing a gif that hints at wanting to stay out of the battle between his wife, Becky Lynch, and his close friend Bayley.
This led to fans sharing their own images and gifs before The Role Model responded with an image of herself and Rollins in the ring together.
In 2020, Rollins heaped praise on his good friend Bayley, highlighting her work in the WWE Thunderdome:
“I think it’s no secret that Bayley and Sasha [Banks] have done their god damndest to fill in with Becky being out and the women’s division just being wide open… Asuka has stepped up too, as well, but I do think Bayley and Sasha have been great. They’ve filled that void as best as they possibly can and have been working like crazy as Tag Team Champs and now RAW and SmackDown Champs.”
Rollins, Becky Lynch, and Bayley trained at the WWE Performance Center, in preparation for a career in the WWE limelight. Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre, and Sasha Banks are among many other Champions that made their name in NXT.
Next week’s Steel Cage match was scheduled to take place on Raw is XXX but a vicious attack by Damage CTRL meant Lynch was unable to compete.
After last night’s words, there is even more heat and excitement going into a ‘homecoming’ in Orlando for two of NXT’s biggest graduates.
