Seth Rollins has given a health update on his fiancée, Becky Lynch, as the couple prepare to welcome their first child.
Speaking to WWE Network, the former WWE Champion touched upon Becky Lynch stating that the former WWE Raw Women’s Champion was doing great as the couple approached their due date in December:
“She’s doing really well. Our due date is fast approaching. It’s crazy to think we’ll be parents soon. I’m sure she’s ready to get back to work just like we all are. But yeah, she’s been so incredible through the entire pregnancy.
In our regular WWE schedule, we’re always traveling and never get to be home. And with my fiancé’s pregnancy, I’ve been able to spend a lot of time at home with her. I wouldn’t have been able to do this on our regular schedule. The timing of that worked out really well. It’s a nice break for me both physically and mentally.”
Seth Rollins was recently written off of WWE television at Survivor Series on November 22, when he willingly knelt in front of Sheamus and accepted a Brogue Kick which he told the Irishman was, “for the greater good!”
In the weeks prior to his departure, Rollins had brought his rivalries with Rey Mysterio and Murphy to a close on Friday Night SmackDown. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has opined that the star is due back as soon as January 2021.
The last time we saw Becky Lynch on WWE television was following Money in the Bank where she relinquished the WWE Raw Women’s Championship to Asuka. Her last bout came at WrestleMania 36 when she successfully defended her gold against Shayna Baszler.
It has been cited by Meltzer that Vince McMahon would like the Lynch back in January also, so she can began a program with Ronda Rousey – who is also expected to return – at WrestleMania 37.
