Seth Rollins has taken to social media to praise a number of recent matches, including one from AEW.
The weekend of September 3rd and 4th was something of a dream weekend for a huge number of wrestling fans. On September 3rd, WWE held Clash At The Castle in Cardiff, Wales before NXT Worlds Collide took place the following day. After the NXT special AEW held All Out.
This was followed by Monday Night Raw and then NXT 2.0 on Tuesday.
Across all three weekend events there were a number of matches praised by fans including the clash between Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins at Clash At The Castle. The event was WWE’s first in the United Kingdom in three decades.
Despite both men giving it their all, it was Rollins who claimed the win, much to the disgust of his rival.
Writing on social media, Rollins has now paid tribute to the sheer quality of wrestling on display over the last five days. In the post the former World Champion praised the matches between Sheamus and Gunther, Roxy Perez and Meiko Satomura, Ricochet and Carmelo Hayes, Kevin Owens and Austin Theory, Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre and more surprisingly the bout between AEW stars The Acclaimed and Swerve in our Glory.
The amount of top level in ring content that happens WEEKLY on TV is staggering. Gunther/Fella. Roxy/Meiko. Ricky/Melo. KO/Theory. Roman/Drew. Acclaimed/Swerve. It’s unreal. Appreciate that shit.

Speaking in a recent interview, Seth Rollins reflected on his rivalry with Matt Riddle and revealed the real reason behind their match being postponed from SummerSlam. During the conversation he also admitted that he was less than impressed to find out that the match had been pulled and held talks with Triple H to clear the air over what he felt was a professional snub.
