Seth Rollins has shown off a gnarly battle scar from his match against Rey Mysterio.
On the 26th of September episode of Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins went one-on-one with the legendary luchador Rey Mysterio. The match came about after Rollins interfered in a tag match involving Mysterio last week.
Despite the Visionary getting the submission victory, he did sustain a nasty laceration across his forehead. It didn’t seem to faze him, though. He posted an image showing off the cut on his social media.

Now that he has written Mysterio off his to-do list, the Visionary can focus on defeating Matt Riddle inside the Fight Pit at Extreme Rules on October 8th. Before his match with Mysterio, Rollins addressed whether he’s out of his depth facing off against a former UFC fighter inside a hellish steel cage. While he admits he’s never battled inside the Fight Pit, he still promised to defeat the Original Bro again and proclaim himself as “The King of the Fight Pit.”
The Fight Pit was introduced during the pandemic era in WWE. Two competitors are locked inside a steel cage where the only way to win is via knockout and submission. The match plays off of Riddle’s MMA and UFC background. Riddle also has experience in the Fight Pit, having competed in the first one in May 2020 on NXT against Timothy Thatcher.
