Seth Rollins Opens Up About Serious Back Injury

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins makes his entrance in NXT

Seth Rollins is dealing with a back injury as he prepares to face Shinsuke Nakamura.

Following the August 14th episode of Raw fans were left guessing after Nakamura whispered something into Rollins’ ear during an in-ring confrontation. Speculation had been flying ever since, wondering what was said between the two men, but the Japanese star has now revealed his mind games.

Speaking on the August 21st edition of the show, Nakamura said he told Rollins he “knows about his back,” explaining he knows about his nagging injuries. Following the segment, Rollins was interviewed backstage and admitted he’s got “two fractures in his lumbar spine” and has been living with the problem for over four years. He added that the injury is getting worse and he’s unsure how much longer he can continue at the highest level.

Is Seth Rollins’ Back Injury Real?

Interestingly, it appears that Seth Rollins’ injury struggles are very real. During a recent appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast, the World Heavyweight Champion commented on his physical condition, stating he probably needs surgery.

“I try to change my training up based on how I feel. There are constant injuries. My knee has been bugging me since before WrestleMania (39), I was having an issue with that. My neck acting up. My lower back has been at me since 2019, probably should get some surgery on that, but trying to just do whatever I can to make sure I don’t need it because I have a couple of stress fractures back there.”

Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura will meet with the World Championship on the line at Payback.
