Seth Rollins On Upcoming Acting Role: “Hopefully Everyone Doesn’t Hate Me”

Seth Rollins On Upcoming Acting Role:

Seth Rollins is anxious about his latest movie role.

Having previously starred in movies such as Armed Response and Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, the World Heavyweight Champion will be making his Marvel debut as he stars in the upcoming superhero movie Captain America: Brave New World.

As seen on ComicBook, The Visionary discussed his involvement with the franchise while appearing on the series Mythical Kitchen’s Last Meals. Rollins stated that he is optimistic that wrestling fans and superhero fans will enjoy his performance:

“It was a really good experience and I think it’s going to be pretty cool. I think our audience is going to love it. I think their audience is going to love it, so it was a cool crossover to be able to jump into some totally different skin and try a new thing out for me,”

Addressing that wrestling has been his only real profession, Rollins went on to state how he had nerves when first stepping into the role but had a great support system while filming the upcoming movie:

“I’m not comfortable…like, look, I’m 38. I’ve only been doing wrestling for 20 years. Only, nonstop. That’s it. I worked in like crappy restaurants and a carwash when I was in my early 20s, and that’s it. Other than that all I’ve done is wrestling, so anytime I get out of my comfort zone I am nervous. I’m like I suck at this, I don’t know what I’m doing, but I was in good hands and it was a really fun experience and I’m excited to see how it turns out,”

Much like certain wrestling fans, some comic book fans are known for their passion and are quick to voice their opinion. Rollins admitted that he is concerned about how the fans will react to his role:

“Hopefully everyone doesn’t hate me,” Rollins said. “I don’t want to have ruined everybody’s vision of this character, so I’m doing my best. I hope people enjoy it,”

Following photos that spotted Seth Rollins on the set of Captain America: New World Order, fans believe that Rollins will be a member of The Serpent Society in the upcoming title.
