Seth Rollins – “I Am The Greatest WrestleMania Performer Of All Time”

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins says he is the greatest WrestleMania performer of all time as he prepares to face Cesaro one-on-one at the two-night spectacular.

Rollins in typical crowing fashion took to social media telling Cesaro exactly what he could look forward to at the ‘Show of Shows.’

Seth Rollins tweeted:

“I’m going to DEMOLISH that LOSER CESARO on the GRANDEST STAGE!! And prove ONCE AGAIN why I am the GREATEST WRESTLEMANIA PERFORMER of ALL TIME!! @ ME COWARDS!!”

The match between Rollins and the Swiss Cyborg has been confirmed for night one of this year’s edition of WrestleMania. Saturday night’s WrestleMania offering also sees Shane McMahon take on Braun Strowman. The New Day will defend their Raw Tag Team Championships against AJ Styles and Omos. Rap superstar and former 24/7 Champion Bad Bunny squares off with The Miz. Bobby Lashley defends the WWE Championship against former champion Drew McIntyre. The 2021 women’s Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair challenges Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

As far as Rollins’ claim to be the “greatest WrestleMania performer of all time” – the Friday Night Messiah boasts a very good record at the event. Rollins is currently 6-2 at WrestleMania, losing at last year’s event to Kevin Owens. The only other blemish on Rollins WrestleMania record came in 2015 when he lost to Randy Orton. Rollins somewhat erased that from fan’s minds when he shocked the world at WrestleMania that year. In the main event between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, Rollins cashed in his ‘Money In The Bank’ and then won his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The match between Rollins and Cesaro is the Swiss star’s first singles match at WrestleMania. The highlight of Cesaro’s appearances on ‘the grandest stage of them all’ came in 2014. At WrestleMania XXX, Cesaro body slammed Big Show over the top rope to win the first-ever André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

WrestleMania takes place on the 10th and 11th of April 2021. The event is available on Peacock in the United States and globally on the WWE Network.
