A new report has indicated the future plans for Seth Rollins after his SummerSlam match with Riddle was pulled from the show.
The former WWE Champion was set to face Riddle at SummerSlam in Nashville before the match was pulled from the event due to a supposed injury suffered by Riddle. That injury was all part of the storyline, according to reports, and the two men fought in an impromptu segment on the show instead.
The next premium live event in the WWE calendar is Clash At The Castle which sees WWE return to a stadium in the UK for the first time in over thirty years.
Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has indicated that Seth Rollins and Riddle will face off on that show in Cardiff. He also adds that it looks likely Edge will team up with Rey Mysterio to face The Judgment Day:
“We have been told Seth Rollins vs. Riddle will be on the show and all TV seems to lead to that. There will likely be something with Edge & Rey Mysterio and Judgment Day in some form. Nothing else is really clear from television although New Day vs. Viking Raiders is a program.”
In recent weeks Seth Rollins has also defeated both members of former Raw Tag Team Champions The Street Profits in singles action.
