Seth Rollins Becoming The Face of WWE After Historic Win Is Possible, Says Legend

Seth Rollins WWE

WWE legend believes Seth Rollins can become the face of the company after his recent major win.

Seth Rollins was one of the superstars of Men’s Money in the Bank, competing against LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, El Grande Americano, Andrade, and Penta. He won the titular contract in a move that shocked many, making him a two-time MITB winner. Following the win, Matt Hardy thinks it’s only a matter of time before The Visionary becomes the face of the company.

In an episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, the wrestling legend talked about the Money in the Bank ladder match winners. He stated that he was shocked by Seth Rollins’ winning, since, like many others, he thought it would be a new rising superstar, not a repeat winner like Rollins.

Matt added that WWE’s momentum is on Seth now, and there’s no doubt that the company will do everything to make Rollins “the guy,” or the face of the Stamford-based promotion.

“The Seth Rollins thing is fine. I like the fact that, you know, we thought it was a red herring. I thought it was too. I thought they would use this to elevate someone else. But they, they really have all of their momentum behind Seth Rollins right now, and they’re gonna do everything they can to make Seth Rollins the guy.”

The Visionary is now one of the two superstars who have won the MITB twice, the other being CM Punk.

Matt Hardy Is More Enthusiastic With Naomi’s WWE Money in the Bank Win Over Seth Rollins

On the women’s side, Naomi won the titular ladder match, a win that received a more positive response from fans.

In the same podcast, Matt Hardy liked Naomi winning the contract, as compared to Seth, which he said was just “fine.” He noted that the SmackDown star deserved the win and can do wonders in the women’s division.

“I like Naomi winning. You know what I mean? I do like that. I think she’s someone who deserves it. She’s someone who can be the flag bearer of the division. So I’m totally cool with that, and I’m happy for her, on a personal level that she won. She’s someone who’s definitely deserving. So I’m totally good with that.”
