Seth Rollins Compares Paul Heyman & John Cena – “One Drew Major Money And The Other Stole”

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins has compared unlikely bedfellows Paul Heyman and John Cena and says one drew money in the wrestling business while the other stole.

At the Royal Rumble on the 29th of January, Seth Rollins will go one-on-one with his former Shield brother Roman Reigns for the first time since 2019 as he challenges for Reigns’ WWE Universal Title.

In the run-up to the bout, both men have been involved in memorable confrontations on the microphone with Rollins making headlines recently as he invoked the name of AEW star Jon Moxley on WWE programming.

Speaking to Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post Rollins was asked about Roman Reigns comparing him to John Cena in recent weeks, accusing Rollins of making similar points as Cena did in his promos when he feuded with The Tribal Chief. Rollins responded that he’d prefer Cena be his promo inspiration than Reigns’ former special counsel, Paul Heyman:

“I’d much rather Cena write my promo than Paul Heyman. One of those guys drew major money and the other stole money.”

Seth Rollins was then asked if he could see himself following in John Cena’s footsteps and spreading his wings in Hollywood:

“If it happens, it happens. I don’t have a ton of aspirations as far as Hollywood is concerned and being in commercials or movies. If it comes it comes. I’m not going to force that sort of thing. I always love to see people like John Cena, Batista, The Rock and my wife Becky Lynch do things outside of WWE, but I’m very content in doing what I’m doing.”
