Although he had help before the match when Brock Lesnar laid out the defending champion Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins’ victory of the WWE United States Championship remained a crucial step in elevating the prestige of the championship. Rollins ultimately put ‘The All Mighty’ Lashley down with a Curb Stomp, ending his reign at exactly 100 days.
Now in his first championship reign since March 2020, Seth Rollins has brought smiles to fans’ faces worldwide with the return of his iconic belt swing mannerism. Footage of Rollins performing the swing was posted to Twitter by WWE on BT Sport following his successful defences against Austin Theory on an untelevised live event.
Oh, HELLO. We've missed this, Seth 🥰

The belt swing was first made popular by Seth Rollins during his run as WWE World Heavyweight Champion in 2015 and has since become a staple of any Rollins title reign. Fans had been longing for him to bring it back as United States Champion since he defeated Bobby Lashley on October 10th.
What Is Seth Rollins’ Championship History?
This reign is Seth Rollins’ second with the United States Championship, having previously held the title for a few weeks in the summer of 2015 when he usurped John Cena in a title vs. title encounter. This saw Rollins’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship also defended in a SummerSlam classic.
It’s hardly the only championship captured by the former Shield man throughout his decade with WWE, however, with Seth having tasted his first WWE championship when he and Roman Reigns won the WWE Tag Team Championships from Team Hell No at Extreme Rules 2013. A subsequent five reigns have followed with the tag titles and varying partners.
As well as two successful runs as Intercontinental Champion, during which time he magically restored a huge abundance of prestige in the ‘workhorse championship’, Seth Rollins is a two-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion and a two-time Universal Champion. As a result, he’s also been crowned both a Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion in the company.
