Inside The Ropes can exclusively confirm that Serpentico has signed a contract with AEW, and is an official, full-time member of the All Elite Wrestling roster.
Serpentico has been wrestling in All Elite Wrestling under that moniker for almost six months, and the talent underneath the mask for even longer. Speculation has been rife of recent as to whether ‘Snakeman’ had indeed signed with the company, and ITR has received confirmation from both All Elite Wrestling and Serpentico himself that he is All Elite!
Speaking with Inside The Ropes exclusively, AEW’s up and coming masked man confirmed the news:
“SNAKEMAN is ALL ELITE! I’ve been under a deal for a few months now. This is going to sound like I’m playing favourites because I work for the company now but I’m beyond grateful to work for a company that cares so much for the people that work for them. Before signing I was already made to feel at home.
“Everyone has been very welcoming and you can practically go to anyone for advice/pointers/critiques and they all have been so helpful. It never comes from a negative place. They really want the company to grow and I’m glad to be part of the team.”
‘Snakeman’ has been a staple of AEW Dark in 2020, and has appeared on Dynamite sporadically too – even sharing the ring with Chris Jericho on the inaugural AEW World Champion’s 30th anniversary celebration – teaming with CHAOS PROJECT partner Luther to face the Demo God and Jake Hager. Serpentico also made his AEW pay-per-view debut recently, taking on Joey Janela at the All Out Buy-In.
He would also go on to tell us about the experience of working with Chris Jericho, and tell us how his journey with AEW started in the first place. You can read the full interview here.
Thanks to Serpentico for taking the time, and to All Elite Wrestling. You can follow Serpentico here and check out his Pro Wrestling Tees store here, and check out the official AEW CHAOS PROJECT shirt here.
You can catch Serpentico on AEW Dark on YouTube on Tuesdays at midnight, and AEW Dynamite on Wednesdays at 1am via Fite TV.
