Serena Deeb Signs AEW Contract

Serena Deeb is All Elite

AEW have today confirmed the signing of Serena Deeb.

Deeb made her All Elite Wrestling debut earlier this month, having been released from her WWE contract in April.

Serena Deeb’s first WWE run saw her paired with CM Punk. Upon returning, the former Straight Edge Society member competed in the Mae Young Classic, losing to Piper Niven. Deeb was then signed as a Performance Center coach.

AEW broke the news of Deeb’s signing in their now-signature way, posting “Serena Deeb is #AllElite” with a welcome message. The signing of Deeb follows the addition of Will Hobbs to the roster just last week.

Serena Deeb – who also works as a yoga instructor – has only been in action on AEW TV once. That match came against NWA Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa on the September 2nd episode of Dynamite, and the 34-year-old clearly impressed! Following the match, social media was abuzz with comments suggesting AEW sign Deeb to a contract, and those wishes have now been fulfilled.

Serena Deeb’s second AEW match comes on this week’s edition of Dark, where she takes on KiLynn King. Other matches scheduled for AEW Dark are Eddie Kingston vs Brian Pillman Jr, Serpentico vs Will Hobbs, and Ben Carter vs Lee Johnson, among others.
