On Tuesday night’s episode of UWN Primetime Live, AEW Superstar Serena Deeb shocked the wrestling world when she defeated Thunder Rosa to capture the NWA World Women’s Championship.
In recent months, in the absence of NWA Powerrr, Thunder Rosa had been defending the gold on the independent circuit in promotions such as Mission Pro Wrestling, USAWC and of course All Elite Wrestling.
Appearing on AEW television, Rosa had defended the gold with pride against Ivelisse o the September 16 edition of Dynamite and challenged Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women’s Championship at All Out.

She had carried the gold since NWA Hard Times on January 24 of this year when she defeated Allysin Kay.
As for Serena Deeb, the former WWE star and Performance Centre coach made her AEW debut against Rosa on the September 2 showing of AEW Dynamite and has made an impression against Big Swole and KiLynn in recent weeks.
Serena Deeb’s victory is well deserved and is also the third big championship change on UWN Primetime Live, alongside Trevor Murdoch defeating Aaron Stevens for the NWA National Championship and The Pope besting Zicky Dice to lift the NWA Television Championship.
Deeb will now make her first championship defence on this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite against the lauded ‘Legit’ Layla Hirsch and is sure to have her work cut out for her.
Inside the Ropes will have live coverage of AEW Dynamite.
