Sean Waltman Open To In-Ring Return

Sean Waltman

Sean Waltman doesn’t have plans for a pro wrestling return, isn’t against being an X-Factor in the ring again either.

Waltman last competed against Joey Janela at GCW Spring Break 6 Part I, but the two-time WWE Hall Of Famer happened to tear his bicep during the fight. The former 1-2-3 Kid commented on the moment in a new interview with Chris Van Vliet.

“I feel healthy. Life is great. I had a match and I tore my bicep. I had that next match planned, and instead of just getting my arm fixed, like any normal and sane person would have, my doctor was telling me, ‘You gotta get this done right away.'”

Waltman made clear that he doesn’t have any plans to compete again, but did state he’s not ever going to say he’s retired.

Would Sean Waltman Be Up For A Multi-Man Tag?

Even though nothing is concrete, Sean Waltman was asked by Van Vliet if he’d be up for something like a multi-man tag match. Sean was self-assured in his ability to still compete at a high level.

“Most definitely. Yeah, I’ve been training, feeling good. If I needed to be in a match, like a six-man or, you know, something like that, I could kill it. I could do all the stuff I used to do.”

When asked if he would be up for a Royal Rumble appearance, Waltman said he “could do that.” The two also talked about the many entrance themes the Kliq member has had over the years and while the Run DMC Remix version of DX remains his all time favorite, Pac provided a little insight into what song he suggested for X-Factor, his faction with Matt Bloom and Justin Credible.

“Shane McMahon comes up to me and they’re trying. They’re trying with me and he goes ‘Hey, we’re thinking about having Red Hot Chili Peppers do your theme music and I go, ‘No, I want Uncle Kracker.”

Waltman’s in-ring return is clearly getting attention, with his close friend Kevin Nash comparing him to arguably one of the top wrestlers in the world today in Kenny Omega.

Recently, Sean Waltman revealed that Kane is his favourite tag team partner of his career.
