WWE Hall of Famer Sean Waltman has scolded a fellow former WWE Superstar after their controversial comments on US gun laws.
The United States is still reeling from the tragic mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas on the 24th of May that left 22 people – including many children – dead. Since then, another 38 mass shootings have taken place in the US according to the Gun Violence Archive.
The debate around gun laws in the US rages on and in his role as Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, WWE Hall of Famer Glenn Jacobs has given his take on the situation on social media, saying:
“Every violent death is a tragedy. That said, the mainstream media would have you believe that America is the land of gun violence and mass shootings when, in fact, as @HannahDCox points out, our per capita rates of gun deaths are actually much lower than many other countries.”
Glenn Jacobs’ former tag team partner Sean Waltman commented on Jacobs’ post, saying that it broke his heart reading that kind of rhetoric from him:
“Breaks my heart reading this shit from you. Wtf man?!”

Waltman and Jacobs famously teamed together during the Attitude Era when the men were best known respectively as X-Pac and Kane. During their time together, the popular duo captured the WWE Tag Team Championship on two occasions.
