WWE’s scrapped plans for Roman Reigns have been revealed immediately after his return.
Roman Reigns is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, stars in wrestling at the moment. The former Bloodline leader returned on the latest episode of WWE RAW and took out Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. He came to the aid of Jey Uso and CM Punk, and it seems like his direction for SummerSlam is slowly being revealed.
However, amidst all this, scrapped plans for Reigns have come to the fore.
WWE’s special plans for Roman Reigns did not come to fruition
Immediatley after Roman Reigns’ return, WWE introduced the Tribal Chief Title on WWE Shop. It seems that despite the special title being introduced after RAW, it has been in the plans since December last year. According to WrestleVotes, it was the same title the promotion wanted to present Reigns with after his Tribal Combat win against Solo Sikoa on the RAW debut on Netflix earlier this year.
This would have been the title presented to Reigns on Netflix had that decision gone through back in December.
Now it’s a commemorative item, priced at a cool $600. https://t.co/A2A3wcHkqwpic.twitter.com/YWGGyLcA5k

A decision on the matter was supposedly set to be taken in December last year, but it did not go through. Had it gone through last year, it would have been the same design as the one introduced after the latest episode of WWE RAW.
It remains to be seen whether WWE will present it to Roman Reigns sometime this year.
