As things stand, Chelsea Green is not set to be a part of WrestleMania 41.
Green defeated Michin in late 2024 to become the first-ever Women’s United States Champion, rounding out a great year for the SmackDown star. Given her popularity among the fans and that WrestleMania 41 was the first iteration of the event that could feature the title, it was assumed that Green would be a part of the show. However, Green was initially scheduled to be part of a six-woman tag match on the go-home SmackDown and not WrestleMania, but this match is no longer being advertised.
As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the Women’s United States Champion was still not planned for WrestleMania but pitches were made for her to be a part of the show. Along with the possibility of Green serving as the host of the event, there was also an open challenge pitched with possible opponents being Alexa Bliss or Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.
The report concludes by noting that although Green is not scheduled to be part of the show, there is still the possibility that plans could change in the lead-up to the event.
