Scott Steiner Assesses Bron Breakker's Current Run On WWE Main Roster

WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner has given his thoughts on Bron Breakker’s brief but impactful run on the main roster.

When it was announced that the son of Rick Steiner and the nephew of Scott Steiner had signed with the company and was part of a class of Performance Center recruits, fans already had lofty expectations due to Breakker’s lineage. Impressing the higher-ups and the fans, Breakker immediately became a standout star on the developmental brand and reigned as the top champion on 2 separate occasions.

With fans demanding a main roster call-up throughout 2023, the company finally granted the wish the following year when Breakker left a lasting impression on the main roster and was officially a part of the main roster shortly afterwards. Continuing to leave a path of destruction on Monday nights, Breakker suffered his first loss at Money in the Bank when he was pinned by Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn.

Speaking with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda, Steiner claimed that Zayn cheated in the match and that the victory was a fluke:

“[Sami] obviously cheated. He’s not going to beat Bron on his own. He got lucky. What, did he have brass knuckles or something? He pulled something out. He can’t beat him one on one. He got lucky.”

When asked about Breakker’s brief time on the main roster, Steiner stated that like many others he was impressed with how things have played out so far:

“So far, it’s going great, I think. We’ll see what happens. But so far, they’re pushing him good.”

Bron Breakker will once again get the opportunity to win his first main roster championship at SummerSlam as he will challenge Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship a second time.
