Scorpio Sky Pulled From Dynamite Following COVID Contact Tracing

Scorpio Sky

Scorpio Sky was pulled from this week’s Dynamite after AEW learned that the star had been exposed to someone who had tested positive for COVID-19 via contact tracing.

Sky had been originally scheduled to face off against Shawn Spears, but All Elite Wrestling confirmed the match had been postponed shortly before Dynamite took place.

AEW posted a statement, confirming that Sky had been exposed to someone who had tested positive for COVID-19 within the previous two weeks. The company confirmed Sky himself had tested negative, but stated that they were taking the necessary precautions.

“Through contact tracing, AEW learned @ScorpioSky was exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the last 14 days. An initial test was negative, but AEW has decided to postpone tonight’s scheduled match.”

Scorpio Sky is one half of the inaugural AEW Tag Team Champions, alongside fellow SoCal Uncensored member Frankie Kazarian. After losing the championships, though, Sky would follow-up on a barnstormer of a singles match with then-AEW Champion Chris Jericho with a foray into singles wrestling and recently had a dominant singles run on AEW Dark. Meanwhile, SCU are still represented in tag team action by Kazarian and Christopher Daniels.
