On the May 27th edition of AEW Rampage, TNT Champion Scorpio Sky was presented with his own custom-made title belt.
After defeating Sammy Guevara on the April 27th episode of AEW Dynamite in a chaotic Ladder Match, Scorpio Sky claimed the TNT Championship for a second time.
Following his victory, Sky kept up his end of the bargain and squared off against his former tag team partner Frankie Kazarian with the title on the line. The Champion kept hold of his precious championship via a helping hand from Ethan Page and Dan Lambert.
Fast forward to the most recent episode of Rampage in Las Vegas, and Dan Lambert and Ethan Page had a special gift for Scorpio Sky. The pair presented him with a new Los Angeles Lakers-inspired championship belt.
The new design features the famous purple and gold of the Lakers, while the numbers 8 and 24 have also been inscribed. The two numbers were previously worn by Lakers and NBA legend Kobe Bryant. In a post on social media, the champion revealed that the belt will be called Jeanie. A nod to LA Lakers owner, Jeanie Buss.
This is of course not the first time that the belt has been redesigned. The original title belt featured a red strap, and was retired following the death of former champion Brodie Lee. Custom designs have previously been used by Darby Allin and Miro.

On Rampage it was also announced that Scorpio Sky will be in action at Double or Nothing. Sky will team with Ethan Page and a debuting Paige VanZant to take on Sammy Guevara, Frankie Kazarian and Tay Conti in an inter-gender tag team bout.
Former UFC star Paige VanZant signed her AEW contract on the March 9th episode of Dynamite after brawling with Tay Conti as Sammy Guevara and Scorpio Sky battled over the TNT Title.
