Anthony Bowens is currently without a daddy after Billy Gunn abandoned him a few weeks ago – could John Cena fill the open gap?
Together with Max Caster, Bowens is part of the Acclaimed duo in All Elite Wrestling, defeating the Gunn Club’s Austin and Colten Gunn on this week’s Dynamite in the company’s first Dumpster match. This, it seems, has led to John Cena praising ‘Platinum Max’.
Though this isn’t the first time the 16-time World Champion has commended Caster, it was the first time that Anthony Bowens begged for John Cena to “scissor” him. ‘Daddy Cena’ is yet to respond to the request:

Scissoring has been a main aspect of The Acclaimed’s AEW presence, with Anthony Bowens regularly requesting to be scissored. Billy Gunn filled this role for a while before he, alongside his two sons, left Bowens and Max Caster laid out a few weeks ago on Dynamite.
Bowens and Caster debuted for the Tony Khan-helmed promotion during Dark’s 27 October 2020 airing, being defeated by Best Friends. They found themselves at home, and were challenging for the AEW World Tag Team Championships by the year’s end.
The duo have been officially signed to the company for almost two years; their initial signing was announced by Tony Khan in an interview with PWInsider just one week after their first appearance on company YouTube programming.
