Scarlett Reportedly In Line For WWE Main Roster Try-Out

This article contains spoilers regarding the June 24th episode of Main Event.

Scarlett, the orchestrator chaos and right-hand woman to NXT Champion Karrion Kross is reportedly set to receive a main roster try-out of her own.

The former IMPACT Wrestling star has been backstage along with Kross and NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed at the most recent RAW and SmackDown shows.

However, while the focus has been on Kross and Reed, a new report has suggested that Scarlett will take part in a try-out at the upcoming edition of SmackDown on June 25th.

The report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, also revealed that Kross and Reed were both in action on the latest taping for WWE’s Main Event.

Bronson Reed defeated Drew Gulak while Karrion Kross defeated Shelton Benjamin. Interestingly Scarlett didn’t appear at ringside, despite being present at the taping. Scarlett has served as Kross’ manager since he arrived in WWE.

While Scarlett is yet to step into the ring since signing with WWE, she does have extensive in-ring experience. Having previously wrestled for the likes of ROH, IMPACT and AAA. With that being said, the current valet to the NXT Champion hasn’t competed in a match since September 2019.

On the most recent episode of NXT, Karrion Kross came face to face with a returning Samoa Joe. The NXT Champion had earlier confronted William Regal before the General Manager’s new enforcer made a shocking appearance.

Meanwhile, Reed’s most recent televised appearance came at NXT TakeOver: In Your House, where he and MSK defeated Legado del Fantasma.

Another Superstar who was reportedly backstage at SmackDown on Friday June 18th was Becky Lynch.

The reports come as the former RAW Women’s Champion readies herself for a return to action following the birth of her first child Roux.

Fightful Select, noted that Lynch looked “jacked” and “like she never left.”

WWE Main Event is available on Peacock and the WWE Network every Thursday.
