With every passing day speculation surrounding a potential WWE return for Sasha Banks continues to gather pace. The star has begun to drop hints about her future on her own social media, while she and fellow absentee Naomi were recently added back into WWE’s opening “Then. Now. Forever” signature.

In recent weeks Banks has also been pictured at a wrestling school in Barcelona, suggesting that she is working towards getting into ‘wrestling shape’ once again. The Boss hasn’t wrestled a match of any kind since appearing at a WWE live event on May 15th.

Sasha Banks Being Put Through Her Paces

New footage has now emerged online of Banks training with former WCW Cruiserweight Champion Juventud Guerrera. The Mexican briefly appeared for WWE in the mid-2000’s but is best known for his work with WCW and AAA. During his time with the former, Guerrera won the Cruiserweight Championship three times, while he also captured the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title on WCW Nitro in 2000, defeating the legendary Jushin Thunder Liger.

Posting on Twitter, Guerrera shared some photos and training clips of himself with Banks. The star said that Banks “deserved the best” and praised her as a “real professional woman.”

This video comes just days after Sasha Banks teased that something exciting was on the way. The multi-time Women’s Champion posted on social media that a date was coming that she had been waiting six months for. The star added that she was very excited to share the news and her journey.

“As time passes, there’s been so much growth and so much beautiful opportunity and the journey that I’ve been loving but as the time also goes on, the date is coming that I’ve been waiting for…the past six months. I can’t wait, but I’m really going to make the most of November to make all my dreams happen in preparation for this date that I’ve been waiting for.

I’m very excited. I hope you guys come along for this journey, which I know a lot of you have been with me for so long so thank you, but I just wanted to let you know there’s going to be something so f*cking crazy coming.”

Sasha Banks and Naomi have been absent from WWE since walking out of the May 16th Monday Night Raw taping following what was reported to be a row over creative. The two women were Tag Team Champions at the time and handed their belts in to Head of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis on their way out. It was subsequently announced that the pair had been suspended indefinitely.
