As rumours continue to swirl around a potential WWE comeback, Sasha Banks has offered an update on her future.
Sasha Banks and Naomi haven’t appeared on WWE television since the May 13th edition of Friday night SmackDown where they defeated Natalya and Shayna Baszler. After appearing at the two following two live events, the pair walked out of the May 16th Monday Night Raw taping.
Following what was reported as disagreements over creative, the pair were stripped of their Women’s Tag Team Titles and suspended indefinitely.
However, since Triple H took over as Head of Creative there have been reports suggesting that a return for the pair could be imminent. Despite this, neither woman is yet to come back.
After initially laying low the duo have made an increasing number of public appearances in recent weeks as they walked the catwalk at New York Fashion Week and Bank appeared at the She-Hulk premiere.
Speaking during a new interview with Ahch-To-Radio, Banks discussed her future in the world of entertainment. The Boss explained that she has a number of creative projects all coming together, but interestingly didn’t mention wrestling or WWE.
“There is so much that I’m creating right now. It’s all under an umbrella. I’m an actor, writer, producer, and extraordinaire entertainer. All within those realms, I’m doing something. You just have to stay tuned. You have a microphone, that’s something big I want to do. Not podcasting, but music. I don’t know if that’s the number one next thing because acting…there are a lot of things coming up acting right now. I’m really starting to focus my mind around music and the music realm and being kind of a director in that space of creating a musical video piece,”
During an interview ahead of WWE Clash At The Castle Triple H was asked about Sasha Banks and whether she will return to the company. The Game admitted that there had been a breakdown in communication, adding that the decision now rests with the former SmackDown Women’s Champion and what direction she wishes to take her career.
