Sasha Banks has revealed what her dream WrestleMania main event would be and who ideally would stand across the ring from ‘The Boss.’
A women’s WrestleMania main event is never out of question in this day and age, made possible by the very first of it’s kind at WrestleMania 35 which saw Becky Lynch defeat both Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair to capture both the WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships.
With Banks vs. Bayley one of the most enjoyable stories of the year, it’s not impossible to imagine the current blue brand women’s champion being given the headline spot in 2021 or 2022.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Sasha Banks orated her wish to main event ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All’ and who she yearned to share the spotlight and honour with:
“Whether that’s Bayley at WrestleMania, whether that’s Liv Morgan, whether that’s Ruby Riott– it could be anybody. But, of course, to main event WrestleMania is still one of my biggest dreams, and to do that with Bayley would be ultimately a dream come true.”
Sasha Banks vs. Bayley in the main event of WrestleMania is a distinct possibility considering how well told the tale has been thus far and just how good their bouts have been.
The WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion wasn’t finished there. She also spoke about a second Evolution pay-per-view event two years after the first:
“[Evolution] is something I absolutely want to happen again. It’s just something that I think was so incredible for the women and for the fans, and I don’t understand why there hasn’t been a second one yet. But it definitely can happen in the future, and whenever it does happen, I think it will be better than the first.”
The first Evolution was a massive success between the ropes and saw Banks, Bayley and Natalya battle The Riott Squad and Ronda Rousey defend the WWE Raw Women’s Championship against Nikki Bella in the main event.
Currently, Sasha Banks is locked in a bitter feud with both Bayley and Carmella on Friday Night SmackDown.
