Sasha Banks has appeared back at the WWE Performance Center sparking speculation that she could be set for a sensational return to the ring!
The former SmackDown Women’s Champion has been absent from WWE television since headlining night one of WrestleMania 37 with Bianca Belair. At the event, Banks lost the SmackDown Title that she had held since the previous October.
Following the defeat, The Boss disappeared from WWE television and there has been little to no word on when she may return. The only comment from Banks herself came in a recent interview, where she confirmed that she was currently on vacation.
However, fans of The Boss might not have to wait too much longer to see her back in action.
In a new report from Fightful Select, it’s noted that Banks along with numerous other Superstars were mandated to appear at the Performance Center.
In Banks’ absence Bianca Belair has become wrapped up in a feud with Bayley. Despite this, both Banks and Belair have talked up the possibility of a rematch.
The news comes as WWE look to return to the road in the coming weeks. The company’s next pay-per-view Money In The Bank will take place on July 18th in Fort Worth,Texas. The event will see a WWE pay-per-view take place in front of the crowd for the first time since February 2020.
The show will be swiftly followed by SummerSlam which will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday August 21st.
Heading into ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer’ Stephanie McMahon has been talking up the event. Speaking in a recent interview, McMahon promised “a lot of surprises” at the show.
It has also been reported by Fightful Select, Vince McMahon will visit the Performance Center as part of a “major scouting effort” to “replenish the main roster” after the recent spate of releases.
In recent weeks, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Shotzi Blackheart and Bronson Reed have all appeared at Raw and Smackdown for dark matches or Main Event tapings.
