Sasha Banks Spends A Month In Mexico Training With Juventud Guerrera
As she revealed on social media, Sasha has stayed in ring-ready shape by training with former Cruiserweight Champion Juventud Guerrera. In a new post recapping her journey, she revealed she spent a month in Mexico in order to train in the lucha libre style. On TikTok, Sasha captioned the post by saying “she is coming” and used hashtags related to WWE, AEW, Joshi wrestling, and more.
Lucha Libre has had a major impact on Sasha Banks’ wrestling style. Sasha has been candid about Eddie Guerrero being her favorite wrestler growing up. Spending time in another country to train is also nothing new to the former WWE Women’s Champion. After taking a hiatus following WrestleMania 35 in 2019, Sasha Banks went to Japan and trained with former WWE NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura.
Further getting fans excited for a potential return, Sasha Banks posted a video on social media saying that something crazy would be coming soon and that she would be taking all of November 2022 to make sure “all of her dreams come true.” Additionally, “Soulnado” recently applied for several trademarks related to wrestling including the name “Mercedes Mone.” Learn more about that here.
