Sasha Banks Photographed With Top Japanese Wrestling Star

Sasha Banks

With Sasha Banks and her professional wrestling career, it’s currently unknown whether or not she’ll be back int he squared circle again, and that’s regardless of whether you’re talking about World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) or another promotion.

That’s until recently, where Sasha Banks potentially has given a hint on her future in wrestling. Recently, “The Boss” suggested that she may still be interested in being in the ring.

Is Sasha Banks Thinking About A Return?

Real name Mercedes Varnado, Banks over the weekend who photographed with Miyu Yamashita, who is currently a star in the Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling promotion. The picture was shared to Yamashita’s Twitter. In the caption of the Twitter post, Yamashita expressed her excitement over being able to meet Sasha Banks. Yamashita had a quick stint with All Elite Wrestling earlier in the year.

Hours after teasing that she would be making a return to the squared circle while visiting the LuchaLibre Barcelona wrestling school, Sasha Banks’ photograph with Miyu Yamashita was posted. While it’s unclear why the former WWE Women’s Champion was at the gym, it appears she was there to give some training and tips to the students who were present.

This isn’t the first time that Banks has hinted about coming back to professional wrestling, doing so multiple times in recent history. Just last week, Banks showed interest in a “dream match” that would see her and former WWE Superstar KAIRI square off. Currently, KAIRI is taking part in the Stardom promotion. In the past, “The Boss” has expressed interest in possibly wrestling in Japan one day, so with her latest interactions with each Yamashita and KAIRI, it’s only added more speculation to an already swirling rumor mill.

Sasha Banks has been in any in-ring action since she and Naomi would exit the promotion during an edition of WWE Monday Night Raw back in the spring. Despite that, however, it’s been reported that both women could return to the company under the leadership of Triple H.
