Leaving everything they know behind on May 16, Sasha Banks and Naomi’s walkout of WWE has since led to intense online speculation. They’re yet to return to the sports entertainment giant, despite reports stating that they’d reached a deal to come back. Whether or not they do end up returning to wrestling remains to be seen.
During their time away from the ring, though, the one-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions have kept busy. This has included appearances at New York Fashion Week and now, during the premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Sasha Banks and Naomi appeared alongside The New Day and Naomi’s husband Jimmy Uso.

The group was attending a premiere of the anticipated entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe ahead of its worldwide launch on November 11. The first official clip from the film was also recently released, featuring Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, and Dominique Thorne.
Sasha Banks And Naomi Have Been Absent For Five Months
News broke during the May 16 WWE Monday Night Raw that Sasha Banks and Naomi, then the reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, had walked out during the live broadcast. Reported issues with their creative direction, as well as that of the championships, were cited as their reason why.
Though they remain under official WWE employment, they’ve gone unmentioned, aside from a few sly mentions on commentary. This included Corey Graves stating how they’d let fans down, while Michael Cole was given the dubious task of announcing the titles had been vacated.
WrestlingNews.co reported on August 1 that a deal had been agreed upon for them to return to the sports entertainment giant. This came just days into Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque’s run in charge of creative and talent relations. It was noted at the time that the contract hadn’t been officially signed, but was “as good as done”.
