Sasha Banks went to drastic measures to ensure Bayley signed their Hell in a Cell contract last night on Friday Night SmackDown.
During a face-to-face summit ahead of their WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship Match this Sunday, Sasha Banks had one goal in mind and that was to force her former best friend to sign the contract which the champion had rebuked last week.
After Bayley had told the world that she wasn’t scared of ‘The Boss’ and that the reason for her not signing was that she had become weary of her former partner, the champion attempted to blindside her foe with a steel chair but found her aim wanting.
As Banks grabbed the prize she’s willing to go to hell and back for, both women entered a tug-of-war for the gold before events turned a tad more violent.
Taking the chair, Sasha remorselessly wrapped it around Bayley’s head and then applied the Bank Statement. With ‘The Role Model’ trapped and with nowhere left to run, Bayley reluctantly signed the contract to meet Banks inside the devil’s playground tomorrow night.
Bayley vs. Sasha Banks for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship is a match several years in the making. WWE have told this tale expertly and the payoff will either leave us with a new champion or the continuation of the feud into WrestleMania season.
On Hell in a Cell night, Bayley will be on day 380 of her impressive reign.
