Sasha Banks Breaks Silence For First Time Since Raw Walkout

Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks has issued her first public comment since she walked out on WWE along with tag team partner Naomi back in May.

Sasha Banks and Naomi haven’t appeared on WWE programming since walking out of the May 16th episode of Monday Night Raw. On the following episode of SmackDown, it was announced that the pair had been suspended and stripped of their Women’s Tag Team Titles.

Conflicting reports followed over the next few months with regards to The Boss’ WWE status with some suggesting that she had been released by WWE and some saying that hadn’t yet happened or been confirmed.

The latest on the situation suggests that both Banks and Naomi could make a stunning return to WWE television given the change in management from Vince McMahon to Triple H.

Sasha Banks has maintained a low profile since the fateful episode of Raw back in May but she has now broken her silence with a post on social media where Banks responded to C2E2’s Tweet promoting her appearance at the event. Banks wrote:

“I’m so excited to see you guys this weekend!!!! I love yoU”

C2E2 subsequently deleted their Tweet but Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp has reported that Banks is still scheduled for her appearance at the event despite that.

Sasha Banks has a supporter in current AEW World Champion CM Punk who has doubled down on his defence of the WWE star.
