Sasha Banks has revealed the list of AEW stars that she would love to see return to WWE.
Over the last year and a half, numerous former WWE Superstars have made their way to AEW. Those heading to pastures new have included Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, Toni Storm, Andrade El Idolo and Malakai Black to name just a few.
However, at WrestleMania 38, an AEW star made the move to WWE for the first time. That star was of course Cody Rhodes, who began his wrestling career with WWE back in 2006.
During an appearance on NBC Sports Boston’s 10 Count podcast, Sasha Banks said that she was happy to see Rhodes back, especially in light of what his father Dusty did for her earlier in her career. In addition, The Boss has already got her eye on a number of stars she would like to see follow Rhodes’ lead and return to the company.
“Well, I wasn’t backstage when he came back, so I can’t tell you what the backstage reaction was for that. But it’s so cool,” Sasha Banks. “I am such a big fan of the Rhodes family. Dusty Rhodes has given me everything, laid the foundation for me. So, just to see the Rhodes back in WWE, it’s so cool.
Next, let’s bring back Goldust! Let’s bring them all back. Dean Ambrose, you want to come? Let’s go. The more the merrier, let’s do it.”
With regard to a female star she would like to see come back, Banks explained she would love to see Ruby Soho, who was known as Ruby Riott in WWE, return to the company.
“I would love to see Ruby Riott back in the WWE Universe,” she said. “Yes, yes absolutely. That’s one of them.”
The now three-time Women’s Tag Team Champion also took the opportunity create a dream faction, which she would naturally lead to glory.
“I would have to throw in, Naomi for sure, and The Usos,” she said. “I think that’s a good faction right there. Just because of the history, and it’s just family right there, it is easy. It’s not going to be The Bloodline, they’re my own faction.”
At WrestleMania 38 Sasha Banks captured the Women’s Tag Team Championships alongside Naomi. The pair are scheduled to make the first defence of their titles on the April 18th episode of Monday Night Raw when they take on Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley.
