Saraya, formerly known as Paige, has once again hinted at a possible return to her former company following her recent exit from AEW.
On 26 March 2025, Saraya officially announced her departure from AEW, ending a two-year run with the promotion. Since then, the former Divas Champion has been vocal about her interest in returning to WWE, but with a notable caveat: she’d prefer to return under her former persona, Paige, rather than continuing on as using her real name.
This week, she sparked further speculation by interacting with a fan post on X that revisited her dramatic 2017 return. The clip featured her comeback moment on Monday Night Raw, when she formed the faction Absolution alongside Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.
The fan captioned the video:
“I don’t think no woman will ever top this return idk.”
The former Paige reposted it with a cryptic but confident message of her own:
“I could do better.. 😌”
Her comment immediately stirred excitement among fans, many of whom have been hopeful for a comeback ever since her departure in June 2022. At the time, her exit from the company was widely believed to be a result of decisions made by the previous management regime. Since the company has come under new leadership, the door to a return appears to be more open than ever.
What Did Saraya Say Recently About A Possible Return To WWE?
Saraya spoke about a potential return to the WWE and said that she doesn’t know if there’s a spot for her in the company right now. She said that she’d like to spend the rest of 2025 focusing on non-wrestling-related projects and that she didn’t expect so many people to want to see her back in the promotion where she rose to prominence.
