Saraya (Fka Paige) Issues An Emotional Apology

Former WWE and AEW star Saraya (fka Paige) issued a heartfelt apology to a fan.

The two-time former Divas Champion has long been a fan favorite. She was last seen in WWE in July 2022 before departing the Stamford-based company following the expiration of her contract. She later signed with AEW and performed under the ring name Saraya, where she remained until March 2025. Since then, she has been a free agent.

Her recent tweet about Evolution 2 sparked fan speculations that she could be present at the all-women’s PLE. However, her absence at the event led many fans to be disappointed, with one in particular who had claimed that Saraya was on a flight to Atlanta.

When the rumor turned out to be untrue, the fan expressed their disappointment on X/Twitter after the event, to which the former Diva replied with a heartfelt apology, adding that all the love shown by fans made her emotional.

Saraya Shares Her Reaction To WWE Evolution 2

Leading up to the event, the Anti-Diva had been actively tweeting about her admiration for her former colleagues and even retweeted a fan post highlighting that she was trending as Evolution 2 drew closer.

After the show, the wrestler formerly known as Paige took to X/Twitter again to share her love for women’s wrestling:

I love women’s wrestling 🥺❤️#frenemies,”

Her tweet was met with an overwhelming response from fans requesting her to make a comeback to the company. The replies also contained a wholesome response from Naomi, who simply tweeted, “I love you.”

Though Saraya has previously expressed uncertainty about whether there was still a place for her in WWE, the outpouring of love from fans and fellow wrestlers makes it clear: she remains one of the most beloved figures in women’s wrestling today.
