Saraya has booked her ticket to AEW All In at Wembley Stadium on August 27th.
On this weeks edition of AEW Rampage, Saraya defeated Skye Blue to seal her spot in a fatal four way match for the AEW Womens Championship at the hotly anticipated upcoming London show, which recently saw ticket sales soar past the number sold for WrestleMania III.
Saraya took advantage of interference from Ruby Soho and Toni Storm to win the qualifying bout, with Soho blinding Skye Blue with spray paint to hand the Brit the opportunity to move on to a title match in her home country.
The fatal four way had been set up on the August 9th edition of AEW Dynamite, with Toni Storm receiving a bye straight into the match. Defending Champion Hikaru Shida saw of the challenge of Anna Jay to land her place in the match with Saraya now completing the line up.
Saraya Excited For AEW All In
The Norwich born Superstar will perform in the UK for the first time in many years and described her excitement at the prospect of the huge Wembley Stadium show in a recent interview with Inside The Ropes’ Kenny McIntosh:
“You know, I just think it’s a very special time in wrestling. I just feel so fortunate to be a part of AEW and making history and just, you know, doing our first ever stadium show the first time in the UK and we were just like go big or go home and we definitely went big and it’s a success. And that’s really awesome. And it’s in front of my home country with my home countrymen and it’s just such a special moment.
I haven’t wrestled in the UK in like, seven, eight years or something like that. So it’s definitely a big homecoming for me, selfishly, you know, and I’m just so excited to be a part of it, it’s awesome.
People that haven’t wrestled in front of a UK crowd before, they’re gonna be shocked because they’ll be cheering and screaming the whole entire time.”
The subject of Fighting With My Family, Saraya has revealed that she would be open to a follow-up release.
