“Touch Grass” – Saraya Blasts Fans After Speculation Over Dynamite Line

Saraya cuts a promo on AEW Dynamite 2022

Her comments on AEW Dynamite proved controversial and now, Saraya has turned her sights from Vince McMahon to the Internet Wrestling Community!

It’s been a whirlwind week for Saraya. Debuting with All Elite Wrestling on the 21 September Grand Slam Dynamite, ‘The Anti-Diva’ entered to a rapturous ovation, both inside Arthur Ashe Stadium and on social media.

Fast forward one week, however, and fans have seemingly already turned on her. Saraya’s promo from the latest Dynamite broadcast soured many people’s opinion of her, as she took needless shots at ex-employers WWE and, specifically, Vince McMahon, stating how Tony Khan actually listens to her.

Lo and behold, Internet wrestling discourse didn’t take too kindly to this attack on WWE, leading the former two-time WWE Divas Champion to call them out for their “bizarre” behaviour:

“I say how my current boss listens to me and all of sudden it’s “So hAtE yOu WwE”. No I don’t. I loved my time there. I appreciate the time and the opportunities I was given. Especially in my NXT days with Triple H. I’m happy now in AEW though. Tribalism in IWC is so bizarre to me.”

A follow-up tweet saw Saraya accuse the online wrestling community of stalking her account:

“Touch grass and get off the internet. Then you won’t have to stalk my account for whenever I post so you can further be miserable.”

This week’s AEW Dynamite saw the former Paige turn Toni Storm and Serena Deeb’s interim Women’s World Championship bout into a Lumberjack match, with Storm walking away with the championship intact.

It’s believed that Saraya’s contract implies that she will one day lace up her boots again, though she currently remains uncleared for active competition. Dr Michael Sampson is said to have the final say on whether she gets cleared for AEW action.
