Santino Marella Announces He And His Wife Are Expecting

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion, Santino Marella, has announced that he and his wife are expecting their second child.

Appearing on WWE’s The Bump in order to discuss the Royal Rumble and his first ever appearance in the 30-Man elimination spectacular and being sandwiched betweSanen Kane and The Undertaker, the beloved star had another piece news.

Sticking with the Royal Rumble theme, Marella – real name Anthony Carelli – announced an incoming entrant into his family when he revealed that he and his wife were expecting child number two which will also be Carelli’s third offspring:

“Because this is called The Bump, my wife upstairs she has a little bump – baby bump. We’re going to have another baby! Of course, my daughter Bianca is 25. She’s training to become a professional wrestler. She is very good. You’re going to see her become a superstar. And my little son Marko, he’s two. And now, we have one more coming!”

Santino Marella, the beloved, hapless Italian comic relief has not been seen on WWE television in a regular role since 2015 after Stardust and The Ascension ruined his Christmas party. He was released from his WWE contract on May 6, 2016.

However, following retirement due to injury, he resurrected the character on the July 22, 2019, Monday Night Raw in a backstage segment and made a shock appearance in the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble Match under his equally memorable guise of Santina Marella but was eliminated by former ally and love interest, Beth Phoenix.
