Ring of Honor World Television Champion Samoa Joe is back in AEW and he came to fight!
At AEW All Out FTR and Wardlow took on the team of Jay Lethal and the IMPACT Wrestling duo, the Motor City Machine Guns.
It had originally been believed that Lethal would be teaming with Sonjay Dutt and Satam Singh but Dutt made the switch on Dynamite, announcing the inter-promotional match.
For much of the match FTR and the Motor City Machine Guns were equally matched, with both teams enjoying spells in the ascendency. However, the simple fact was that despite the efforts of the IMPACT pair and Lethal, they had no answer to the power of Wardlow.
The end of the match came in regular Wardlow fashion as Mr Mayhem demolished Lethal with the Powerbomb Symphony.
After the match, Singh and Dutt who were at ringside got involved in the action once again, but they were quickly cut off by a returning Samoa Joe. The former WWE star nailed Singh with his ROH World Television Title before throwing Dutt in the ring.
This brought out Dax Harwood’s daughter who broke Dutt’s pencil, with Harwood nailing him with a right hand. With Dutt prone on the canvas Harwood’s daughter pinned him with her foot as the referee made the count.
Fight like an 8 year old girl!

Samoa Joe burst onto the scene in Ring of Honor once again when his time in WWE came to an end, making his debut for the Tony Khan-owned company at Supercard of Honor in April 2022. He then competed in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament in AEW, making it all the way to the finals at Double Or Nothing where he lost to Adam Cole.
That was his last bout so far in AEW but in July Joe was part of ROH’s Death Before Dishonor where he successfully defended his ROH World Television Title against Jay Lethal.
Joe had been filming the series Twisted Metal for Peacock in recent months but filming has now wrapped.
