Check Out This INCREDIBLE Video Essay On Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes' Story!

If you’re a WWE fan, you have to check this video essay on the WWE story of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes!

Irish YouTuber Super Eyepatch Wolf, best known for his in-depth video essays on TV shows, anime and video games, has gone viral within the wrestling community several times over the last few years.

His occasional videos on the industry, attempting to explain the unique aspect behind The Undertaker’s Streak, villians in wrestling and more to non-wrestling fans, have garnered several million views each.

Until now, his latest wrestling video essay covered the story of Roman Reigns and his journey from The Shield to The Bloodline. However, Reigns’s story wasn’t complete when the video was released in June 2023, causing a somewhat open-ended finale.

Now, sequel/update to that video has been uploaded to his channel. On top of the original 90-plus-minute video, an additional 55 minutes has been added to explain Cody Rhodes’ story and their clashes at WrestleMania 39 and 40.

Check out the video in full above and let us know what you thought of it!

Cody Rhodes Wants To See Dustin Rhodes In WWE Hall Of Fame

The WWE Legend Who Declares Cody & Dustin Rhodes As The Best Second Generation Wrestlers

Cody Rhodes has made a case for his brother Dustin Rhodes to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Rhodes was asked who he’d like to see inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame once their career comes to an end.

Alongside legendary names like John Cena and Randy Orton, The American Nightmare advocated for his own brother Dustin Rhodes, better known to WWE fans as Goldust, to recieve the honour.

And I’ve oftentimes said my brother. I feel like he had more if an important role in the Attitude Era and moving forward. And I think he’s extremely talented.

I think I’d like to see that not just because I believe he deserves it, which he does, but I’d love to see the family just more added. The Hall of Fame doesn’t mean the same to everybody if that makes any sense. To my family, the Hall of Fame is the thing – the title and then the Hall of Fame.

My dad going in was such a huge deal. So, I’d love to see him joined by my brother. But yeah, Randy is somebody I’ve been thinking about a lot too. We got a lot of hopefully future Hall of Famers with us.

AEW Owen Hart Cup Reworked Following Major Injury

AEW Unveils Brackets For Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments

The 2025 AEW Owen Hart Cup has reportedly undergone major changes after a top star suffered an injury.

Fightful Select reports that Jay White’s injury that was mentioned on Dynamite, which has eliminated him from the Owen Hart Cup, is legitimate. There are no specifics on the injury itself beyond White requiring surgery.

The explanation of the Death Riders attacking him is purely in storyline to cover for the injury. White’s absence is said to have caused major creative changes to the tournament, though there are no details at the moment on what plans specifically were changed.

Samoa Joe Opens On Impending Retirement Plans

Samoa Joe making his entrance during a 2024 episode of AEW Dynamite

Samoa Joe admits the end of his legendary in-ring career is on the horizon.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet, the former AEW World Champion revealed that he’s been thinking a lot about retirement, although he dislikes the term, and believes the end of his 25-year career is coming soon.

Yeah, I do [think about the end of my career] a lot. It’s probably coming sooner than later, which is fine.

I think a lot of people from my generation, from what I’ve seen, if that they have the ability, we’ve done our best to kind of save up and we definitely don’t want to out stay our welcome, because we may have been privy to a few people may have done that in their careers. So I definitely don’t want to be that guy in mind.

He went on to elaborate, admitting that the moment will likely come when his current AEW contract expires as he doesn’t think he’ll be signing another pro wrestling contract.

No, I think it’s just really based on when my contract runs out. I think exploring those options as they go. I hate just saying retirement, because how many pro wrestling retirements never stick? All of them. So yeah, I will do this for a little longer and then yeah I think the end is probably sooner than any new deal being signed.

Outside of wrestling, Joe has dabbled in acting – most recently lending his voice and likeness to Raymond Law in Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii. Earlier today, he also confirmed that he’ll reprise his role as Sweet Tooth in season 2 of Twisted Metal.
