Samoa Joe Makes History During AEW Collision

Samoa Joe in AEW

Samoa Joe has continued his career resurgence by making AEW history during the August 5th edition of AEW Collision.

Samoa Joe would take on Serpentico in an unannounced match during the August 5th edition of AEW Collision and would handily take care of the Chaos Project member in efficient manner.

Serpentico would run straight into Joe’s lethal Coquina Clutch tapping out immediately in under ten seconds.

‘The Samoan Submission Machine’ would make history with the victory by setting the record for the quickest in AEW Collision history.

AEW would acknowledge the record themselves, taking to their official Twitter, AEW would state:

“With that quick win, Samoa Joe has the record for the fastest win in #AEW history!”

What Is The Quickest Win In AEW History?

Although Samoa Joe holds the record for quickest win in the short history of AEW Collision, he does not hold the overall record for the quickest win in AEW.

That honour goes to none other than former FTW Champion Ricky Starks who defeated independent star KC Navarro during the February 4th 2021 episode of AEW Dark.

Following his historic victory, Samoa Joe would set his sights on a tougher foe by challenging the “real AEW World Champion” CM Punk to a rematch at AEW All In on August 27th 2023.

CM Punk is yet to respond to the challenge.
