AEW star Sammy Guevara has cast some serious doubt on his future in the company as he admits that “things are coming to an end.”
Sammy Guevara is the epitome of an AEW original, taking part in the first singles match in company history when he lost to Kip Sabian on the Double Or Nothing Buy In back in 2019. In addition, The Spanish God competed in the first bout in Dynamite history when he faced off with Cody Rhodes before being part of the formation of the Inner Circle later in the night.
Guevara reached peak popularity when he won the Stadium Stampede match for the Inner Circle against MJF’s Pinnacle in May 2021 and four months later he captured the TNT Championship for the first time.
Eventually becoming a three-time TNT Champion, Sammy Guevara’s popularity with the AEW fans waned when his relationship with his now-wife Tay Melo became public. As a result, he reverted to his villainous ways and re-established his partnership with Chris Jericho in The Jericho Appreciation Society.
Taking to social media, the Guevara alluded to something coming to an end in his near future and encouraged people to check out his Vlog for more:
“Thank you to the ones who’ve paid attention. Things are coming to an end. More tomorrow on the Vlog…”

The future of several AEW stars seems uncertain with CM Punk, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks still seemingly suspended by the company. Malakai Black has also confirmed that he had requested his release from the company.
