Sammy Guevara has commented on the prospect of a recently released WWE star signing with AEW and says it’s not going to happen.
The remaining three members of Hit Row were released from WWE on November 19, just two weeks after female member of the group B-Fab was also let go by the company.
Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott, Ashante Adonis, and Top Dolla were part of the round of releases that took the total number of WWE Superstars let go in 2021 to a massive 80.
Since then Top Dolla has been outspoken about his time in WWE and has also taken a shot at former AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks.
Now the current TNT Champion Sammy Guevara has commented on the likelihood of Top Dolla following in the likes of Adam Cole or Ruby Soho’s footsteps and joining AEW during a recent live stream with Vlog Crew member Alan ‘5’ Angels.
A fan asked Guevara “When is Top Dolla coming to AEW?” and the TNT Champion was quick to reply with “Never” while both he and Angels shared a laugh together.
Previously on his vlog, Sammy Guevara has taken shots at Top Dolla, insinuating that the star was not safe in a skit with fellow AEW stars Nick Comoroto and Aaron Solo which can be seen in the video below.
Sammy Guevara recently held on to his TNT Title on AEW Rampage when he defeated another former WWE Superstar in The Premier Athlete, Tony Nese.
