The issues between Sami Zayn and Johnny Knoxville have continued with the WWE star gate-crashing and then being physically removed from the red carpet at the Jackass Forever premiere.
The rivalry between Jackass star Johnny Knoxville and Sami Zayn is not one many would have seen coming but as is often the case, the wrestling world is a very strange place.
After Knoxville announced that he wanted to be entered into the 2022 Royal Rumble match, he was confronted by Zayn on SmackDown. The former Intercontinental Champion didn’t have much time for the television and movie star, which led Knoxville to sneak up on Zayn after a match throwing him over the top rope. This sealed his entrance into the match.
In the weeks that followed, on SmackDown Zayn launched his own mini-version of Jackass in an attempt to prove that he could out-do the original cast. Not that these attempts always went quite to plan.
During the Royal Rumble match itself, it appeared that Zayn had come out on top after eliminating Knoxville, but after celebrating a little too long, he too was thrown over the top rope.
With this in mind, Zayn headed to the red carpet premiere of Knoxville’s new movie Jackass Forever. He proceeded to gate-crash the event before being interviewed by Entertainment Tonight. However, it was Zayn who started asking the questions, asking why the news outlet wasn’t also attending WWE shows.
At this, Knoxville and the rest of the Jackass crew removed Zayn from the red carpet with a little help from a cattle prod.

The recently returned to action Drew McIntyre was also in attendance, but the Scottish Warrior appeared to be a much more welcome guest.
McIntyre returned to action at the Royal Rumble following a neck injury. A recent report noted that McIntyre’s return was kept quiet, with some inside the company in the dark until just before he stepped through the curtain.
