Sami Zayn Says He Has Taken WWE Newcomer ‘Under His Wing’

Sami Zayn hugs Roman Reigns

Sami Zayn is taking his role as ‘Honorary Uce’ of The Bloodline very seriously as he says he’s taken a SmackDown newcomer “under his wing.”

Sami Zayn has been welcomed by his Tribal Chief Roman Reigns into The Bloodline after being named an ‘Honorary Uce’ on SmackDown. While Zayn’s induction into the group has been welcomed by youngest member Solo Sikoa, Jey Uso still seems hesitant to accept Zayn’s motives for aligning himself with the family.

Speaking on the SmackDown LowDown Sami Zayn discussed his burgeoning relationship with Solo Sikoa and says he “genuinely” cares about the former NXT North American Champion:

“I love Solo because I’ve kind of taken him under my wing. And I feel like he senses that it’s coming from a place, a genuine place, I genuinely have his best interests at heart. And what happens when you actually care about someone? Lo and behold, they care about you.”

“He actually senses I care about him. He’s got my back, I got his back. So yeah, next week he and I will take on Madcap Moss and Ricochet, and guess what’s gonna happen? Bloodline stands tall again.”

Solo Sikoa made his first main roster WWE appearance at Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales where he helped Roman Reigns retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre.
