Sami Zayn Sings To Kevin Owens After WWE Raw Goes Off The Air [Video]

Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens

Sami Zayn just wants Kevin Owens to stop being so angry.

In the main event of the June 17th episode of WWE Raw, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn took on Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio of the Judgment Day with the World Tag Team Titles on the line.

Naturally, the match descended into chaos with Rhea Ripley doing her best to sway the odds in favour of Judgment Day. However, she hadn’t banked on Liv Morgan also getting involved, looking for revenge after Ripley injured her tag team partner Raquel Rodriguez earlier in the night before they lost the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

With Ripley taken care of, Owens hit Priest with a Stunner and Zayn flattened Mysterio with the Helluva Kick to score the win.

As the show went off the air, Zayn and Owens were joined in the ring to celebrate by Seth Rollins. The World Heavyweight Champion led the crowd in a rendition of his theme song, before praising the Tag Team Champions.

Zayn then took the microphone and said he wished he had a song that fans could sing like they do for Rollins.

“Generally speaking, I am not a jealous person. But when I see 18,000 people in Atlanta all singing this (Rollins’) song, it makes me wish we (Owens and I) had a song, like (if) they would all sing with us.”

Owens — quite rightly — pointed out that Zayn does have a song that fans sing, and on cue, they sang “Ole, ole, ole.” He then realised that Zayn actually has two songs fans sing, something that annoyed him. However, Zayn revealed that he’d actually been working on something all week.

That something was a new song he called “Kevin, Don’t Be So Angry.” In a scene more at home outside of a local bar at 3 am, Zayn and his band of fellow revelers sang to Owens and Rollins danced away on his own in the ring. Owens initially didn’t seem to like the song but eventually admitted he loved it.

The former Universal Champion then challenged the crowd to sing a better song, and they sang Rollins’ theme one more time to end the festivities.

Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, And Others Were Arguing Just A Week Earlier

The good times following Raw were a stark contrast to the scenes a week earlier when it was reported that Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Judgment Day got into an argument backstage after problems in their main event match.

It was noted this frustration came from a number of creative changes being made even while the stars were making their entrances.
