Sami Zayn Breaks Silence Following Betrayal On WWE Raw

Cody Rhodes comforts Sami Zayn on Raw

The March 6th episode of Monday Night Raw was another ridiculous rollercoaster in the life of Sami Zayn.

In the opening match of the night, Solo Sikoa took on Kevin Owens. Despite the best efforts of KO the clash completely broke down with Jimmy Uso getting involved. As the violence continued after the bell, Zayn ran in to help even the odds. However, when he offered Owens his hand, he was rejected yet again. Not to be deterred, Zayn approached Owens backstage later in the night but was met with resistance.

In the show’s main event, it was Zayn’s turn to be in action against Jimmy Uso. As the match flew towards a conclusion, Jey Uso appeared in the crowd and come to ringside where he appeared to encourage Jimmy. But this backfired and Zayn was able to capitalise on the distraction and grab the win.

Once the match was over, Jey went face-to-face with Jimmy in the ring, and initially appeared to turn down a reconciliation. Jey went to the outside as Zayn watched on and embraced him to a monster ovation, leading Zayn and fans to believe he was turning his back on The Bloodline. But that couldn’t have been further from the truth.

After Zayn and Jey gave their salute to fans, the latter smashed Zayn with a Superkick and lead the beat down which included Jimmy and Solo Sikoa. Eventually, Cody Rhodes ran out to help as the show went off the air.

Interestingly, Rhodes was seen talking to Kevin Owens earlier in the show.

Posting on social media, Zayn has now shared his reaction to the emotional events of March 6th, sharing a photo of his embrace with Jey and the simple caption “emotions.”

Jey Uso Comments On Turning His Back On Sami Zayn

24 hours earlier Jey Uso shared his own comments on social media about turning his back on Zayn, writing “family first.”

Elsewhere on the show, three huge matches were set up for WrestleMania. Seth Rollins will take on Logan Paul, John Cena will challenge Austin Theory for the United States Title, and Trish Stratus will team with Lita and Becky Lynch to face Bayley and Damage CTRL.
