Ruby Soho Reacts To Heartwarming Riott Squad Royal Rumble Reunion

Liv Morgan Ruby Soho Sarah Logan

AEW star Ruby Soho has reacted to the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match that saw her former partners in the Riott Squad have a brief reunion.

Thirteen women that comprised the 30 woman field at the Royal Rumble were former WWE Superstars or WWE Hall Of Famers as the likes of Lita and The Bella Twins rolled back the years in the ring.

One woman that entered the bout as a surprise competitor was former WWE star, Sarah Logan. Logan’s last match in WWE came back in 2020 when she lost on Raw in less than a minute to Shayna Baszler. Just two days after that loss Logan was among several superstars released in the first tranche of roster cuts attributed to budget cuts in the company.

Sarah Logan entered the women’s Royal Rumble at number 25 lasting less than a minute before she was eliminated by The Bellas. In that short time, however, Logan had a touching moment when she reunited with her former Riott Squad partner Liv Morgan in the match.

Morgan is the only member of the trio still on the WWE roster and entered the match at number 6, lasting an impressive 37 minutes and 20 seconds before being eliminated at the same time as Logan.

Now the third member of that Riott Squad trio, AEW’s Ruby Soho – formerly Ruby Riott – has taken to social media to share her apparent delight at her former teammate’s appearances in the Rumble.

In a previous interview with the New York Post, Ruby Soho discussed her closeness with Sarah Logan being a key factor in her making a big house move:

“I am godmother to Sarah’s son, Cash, and she asked me to be as much as part of his life as possible. I love that little boy to death and she is one of my best friends, so it was an easy choice and I was able to find this farm in the middle of nowhere and I was able to get horses and I have a place for my dogs to run around.”

On the upcoming 2nd of February edition of AEW Dynamite, Ruby Soho will go one-on-one with The Native Beast, Nyla Rose.
